Located throughout the New Jersey Counties of Passaic, Morris and Sussex, we provide professionally based social services, including Behavioral Health Programs, Veterans Services, Children’s Programs, Senior and Aging Services and much more.

Site Coordinator - Partnership for Social Services (Meals on Wheels)

Location: Franklin, NJ

Hours: Full Time - Flexibility Required

Job Summary:

Individual is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of services at the Partnership of Social Services for Catholic Family & Community Services (CFCS). This includes but is not limited to supervising overall administrative support functions necessary for the delivery of community support services including Meals on Wheels and Thrift Shop.

Position Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Duties):

1. Oversee day to day operations of services that provide community support to Seniors and/or those with disabilities for CFCS, including Meals on Wheels, Thrift shop and Veterans closet. Works and helps support the CFCS food pantry.

2. Ensure adherence to regulations and required procedures set forth by CFCS, COA and funders regarding client records, emergency and risk management, safe food handling, etc.

3. Represents the Community Support Programs and CFCS at internal and external stakeholder meetings. Develops and maintains positive, collaborative relationships with CFCS staff and external stakeholders, including funders and referral sources.

4. Directs and assists with necessary functions (i.e.-home assessment and reassessment of clients) in compliance with contracts, policies and procedures. Enrolls and maintains clients in services as per contract guidelines. Work on ways to maximize service delivery and ensure fulfillment of contract commitments.

5. Assist in all program areas as needed at PSS to ensure coverage for all Community Support programs, such as the Community Support Person and Meals on Wheels driver and complete all job their duties when needed.

6. Assist clients with community supportive living needs related to optimal health, safety and wellbeing. Identify client needs and change during assessments. Provide and follow up with appropriate referrals for clients.

7. Enter client data when needed and other required databases (i.e.-SAMS, client databases).

8. Collect and process all donations, complete all paperwork, deposit monies in local bank and send all paperwork to finance department.

9. Complete all check requests and credit card receipts and send to finance department.

10. Assist with grant application preparations as directed.

11. Strategically plan and improve activities including data collections, ongoing monitoring and improvement initiatives.

12. Work with volunteer and workforce programs and personnel, supervise and approve all active participants.

13. Identify opportunities to improve operations, service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

14. Supervise the PSS building, including ensuring the building is maintained.

15. Attend CFCS, county, state or any other meetings when required, including virtual meetings. Work on special projects and attend networking events in Sussex County.

16. Attend and complete all training as required with CFCS, county and state.

17. Assist with the assembly and cleanup for meals for Meals on Wheels program when needed. Fill in for Meals on Wheels driver and complete their assigned route when necessary.

18. Deliver Meals on Wheels to clients when volunteer or driver is not available.

19. Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or associates with 3-5 years’ work experience, prior experience in human services may substitute for academic degree.

2. Position requires that this individual be able to lift 25 pounds.

3. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office; data entry into multiple diverse systems; proficiency in using portable technological devices with touch screen (tablets).

4. Knowledge of Microsoft 365.

5. Superior customer service skills.

6. Valid NJ driver’s License.
